AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands – Thomas Thor Associates, the nuclear specific executive search and consulting business based in Europe and the Middle East, is delighted to announce the acquisition of a majority equity stake in KeySource HCI, a nuclear specific executive search and consulting business operating in the US and Canada, as of January 1, 2017.

In the Americas the business will trade as KeySource Thomas Thor, LLC. KeySource Thomas Thor combines the retained executive search capabilities of KeySource HCI and the executive recruiting and professional contracting services of Thomas Thor Associates to create a worldwide network of talent delivery capabilities – a true global reach around the worldwide nuclear industry.  KeySource Thomas Thor will focus on the Americas, but will have access to the global network of Thomas Thor Associates.

This marks an exciting step towards Thomas Thor Associates becoming a truly global organisation. The 16 years trading history that KeySource has in the North American nuclear industry, combined with the strength of Thomas Thor Associates in all other developed nuclear countries, will give nuclear organisations access to a truly global pool of talent. Nuclear organisations and projects worldwide are suffering from human resource deficiencies and the mission of Thomas Thor is to provide the right personnel in the right places at the right time across the global nuclear industry.

Keith M. Wing, founder and Principal of KeySource, will serve as President and Chief Executive Officer of KeySource Thomas Thor, reporting to Callum Thomas who will serve as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Thomas Thor Associates globally.  Mr Wing explained: “this is essentially a merger of two highly competent nuclear industry services companies with complimentary skills focused on North and South America.
